Arriving by airplane

If you are coming from Kansai International Airport, take the JR Kansai Airport Rapid Service from "Kansai Airport Station" to "Osaka Station". Transfer to the JR Limited Express Kounotori and change at "Fukuchiyama Station" to the Kyoto Tango Railway bound for Amanohashidate. Get off at "Amanohashidate Station".

Arriving by train

From Osaka and Wakayama

From Osaka, take the JR Limited Express Kounotori from 'Osaka Station',
transfer to the Kyoto Tango Railway bound for Amanohashidate at 'Fukuchiyama Station', and get off at 'Amanohashidate Station'.
From Wakayama, please travel to Osaka first, and then follow the same route as those coming from Osaka.

From Kyoto, Shiga, and Nara

From Kyoto, take the JR Limited Express Kinosaki from 'Kyoto Station',
transfer to the Kyoto Tango Railway bound for Amanohashidate at 'Fukuchiyama Station', and get off at 'Amanohashidate Station'.
From Shiga or Nara, please travel to Kyoto first, and then follow the same route as those coming from Kyoto.

Kobe

From Kobe, take the JR Kobe Line Special Rapid Service from 'Sannomiya Station',
transfer to the JR Limited Express Kounotori at 'Amagasaki', and then transfer to the Kyoto Tango Railway bound for Amanohashidate at 'Fukuchiyama Station',
and get off at 'Amanohashidate Station'.

Arriving by Express Bus

From Osaka, Wakayama Nara Kobe

From Osaka and Kobe, there are direct express buses bound for Amanohashidate.
These express buses are jointly operated by Hankyu Express Bus and Tango Kairiku Kotsu.
From Wakayama, please travel to Osaka first and board from Osaka's bus terminal.

From Kyoto, Shiga and Nara

From Kyoto, there are direct express buses bound for Amanohashidate. These express buses are operated by Tango Kairiku Kotsu. For those coming from Shiga or Nara,
please travel to Kyoto first and board from Kyoto's bus terminal.

Arriving by car

From Osaka, Shiga and Kyoto

If you are coming from Osaka or Shiga by car, take the Meishin Expressway and Kyoto Jukan Expressway to Route 176 in Miyazu City, Sutsu.
Exit at Yosano Amanohashidate IC onto San-in Kinki Road, then continue north on Route 178.
If coming from Kyoto, enter the Kyoto Jukan Expressway from Route 9, then follow the same route as those coming from Osaka.

From Nara

If you are coming from Nara by car, head north on the Keinawa Expressway, then take the Shin-Meishin Expressway at the Joyo Junction,
and enter the Daini-Keihan Road at the Yawata-Kyotanabe Junction.
After that, continue on the Kyoto Jukan Expressway from the Kumiyama Junction to Route 176 in Miyazu City, Sutsu. Exit at Yosano Amanohashidate IC onto San-in Kinki Road, then continue north on Route 178."

From Wakayama

If you are coming from Wakayama by car, take the Hanwa Expressway and head north on the Kinki Expressway. Enter the Daini-Keihan Road at the Kadoma Junction,

then take the Maizuru-Wakasa Expressway at the Fukuchiyama Interchange. Continue on the Kyoto Jukan Expressway from the Ayabe Junction to Route 176 in Miyazu City, Sutsu. Exit at Yosano Amanohashidate IC onto San-in Kinki Road, then continue north on Route 178.
